Just think of it as the Uber for hairdos.
Hairdoo is a new app that allows you to book appointments with certified stylists and barbers, anywhere in the Los Angeles area (the app developers have plans to expand to other cities soon, so keep an eye out!).
You can view a map to locate the barber nearest you and see how soon the barber can come to you in real time (usually an hour or later). Each barber has a profile where you can browse a haircut gallery from his or her previous cuts. You can also check out ratings and reviews and schedule up to four people for a group haircut session.
Haircuts are $45, but you can also purchase a monthly subscription for $100 that allows you to get up to three haircuts within that month.
And no need to have cash on hand – once your new haircut is done, the Hairdoo app will automatically charge you with the option to include a tip.
With so many on-demand grooming apps for women already available, it was about time someone created a similar service for men. With the holidays coming up, this app may just be the solution to getting your hair ready for a season of parties without having to fight LA traffic.
